We had to wait for almost 2 months to get the car. I have to commend to BMW's service here. Due to the delay in delivering the new car there was a gap of an entire month between my returning the leased MDX and the arrival of the bimmer. The dealer lent a car to me without charge for that full month.
One extra comment about the X5's rare entertainment system in case anyboday considers it. The remote control is the worst of any I have seen. It is even cheaper looking than the remote for one of my computers that came with a TV card pre-installed. However, if you lose the remote controle and according to the dealer, BMW will charge you $350 for it. In comparison, the remote control for the MDX is like a high tech gadget.
