Leaving too much stuff controlled by computer always bothers me.
Germain made vehicles are notorious in this area. If everything works, it is a beauty. But if one thing is wrong, who knows how many sensor/computer chips need to be checked/replaced?
I would reather keep the critical part, such
as brake, accelerator control depends on mechnical
system (direct control), than outsource it to a computer deciding my life.
But with the current trend in auto industry. I don't think it will happen.
I personally prefer mechanical sytem.
