This time it is too many and too costly. The problem is not just the gas padel. The Lexus ES 350 did not use US Parts but still haveing the same problem. I believe it is the control system can not tell the realy signal from the faulty ones. Unless the whole system is redesigned and replaced, there is no real solution. One quick and easy solution is to change the software to ignor any request of sudden acceleration from the gas padel sensor. But it will create another problem. That is no response from the engine when the power is needed in an emergency. Anyway, just don't buy any TOYOTA car in the next few years because testing the new system will take time and making it perfect will even take longer.
