收到DMVregistration fee兩年多了，今天才發現一直沒付這筆錢

將近3000塊，主要是我們一直以為別人已經買了這輛卡車，所以沒有注意。現在california franchise找上門來了，我們能想辦法減少點這筆費用嗎？因為其實這輛車一直是parked,但是沒有注冊parked。 急死了，真後悔疏忽大意，但是有沒有能挽回點錢的機會呢？ 先謝謝了！
