武夷山中 – （宋）謝枋得

 

十年無夢得還家，獨立青峰野水涯。

天地寂寥山雨歇，幾生修得到梅花？

 

In Wuyi Mountain by Xie Fang-de (Soong Dynasty)

 

Ten years, not once I set foot at home — e’en in dream,

Alone I stand on the peak, watching the wild stream.

Heaven and earth lie silent — the tempests have ceased —

When shall I bear the plum blossom’s soul, I do deem?
