學問勤中得，螢窗萬卷書。
三冬今足用，誰笑腹空虛。

On Studiousness by Wang Zhu (Soong Dynasty)

Knowledge is acquired through diligence true,

By firefly’s glow, myriad tomes were read.

Three winters’ effort hath paid for its due,

Who dares to label you an empty head.
