奧斯陸Downtown的聖誕節期間


Drift Away,一首1972年的老歌. 以後多次被翻唱.

第一次聽到這首歌是在挪威奧斯陸附近的鬱金香酒店.那時候聖誕節將至,旅館裏在一個周六的晚上請來一個流行樂隊在大堂裏演出,這首歌被反複地演奏了很多次.它的旋律給我留下了深深的印象.

在那段每天烏雲壓頂日子裏,太陽即使露一麵也是斜斜的掛在天邊.外麵始終覆蓋著積雪.小鎮上每一條路邊都是臘燭或者火把裝飾,在夜幕降臨的時候點燃.人們到酒館飯館裏聚會,在商店裏購物.聖誕節對於這裏的人們好象特別有意義.因為室外寒冷,我和同事並不經常出去吃飯,酒店就是家了.

這首歌曲很適合幾個人的樂隊演出.坐在一樓的房間裏就能看到現場,歌手們很有熱情,技藝高超.可惜我不記得樂隊的名字了.

若幹年後聽到Uncle Kracker的翻唱,覺得非常喜歡.
