風之花啊，聽說你是從血泊中長出的美麗花朵.那是希臘神話中一個名叫風信子的年輕美男子,因為深得太陽女神阿波羅喜愛,而被充滿醋意的西風神蘇菲洛所殺，風信子的血泊中片刻就長出了一種神奇的花兒，傷心的阿波羅女神把這朵盛開在血泊中的美麗的花朵命為風信子花，作為情侶間守節的信物。
