下麵這句話沒有上下文，我理解的對不對？

To read such rubbish while sitting in a highly organized office of a very efficient hospital would have been amusing were it not for the certainty that uninformed people in America would assume a basis in fact。

要不是確信向美國人介紹情況是需要有事實依據的，坐在xxx裏讀這些P話本來也是個娛樂。
