老米（Milosz) 獲1980年諾貝爾文學獎，他的詩很陽光而有思想，下麵這首短詩境界一般人很難達到。
米沃什是出生於立陶宛的美國詩人、散文作家。作為猶太人(student) 在二戰時的波蘭肯定受過不少苦，後來是加州大學伯克利教授，或是有顆快樂peaceful的心，他活到了93歲。

多快樂的一天嗬！
晨霧消散了，我到花園裏幹活。
蜂鳥停在金銀花兒上。
世界上沒有一樣東西我想占為己有，
也沒有一個（知道的）人我會羨慕他。
所有受過的不幸，我忘記了。
想到我曾經是同一個人我也無所謂。
在我的身體裏，己沒有痛苦。
我挺起身來，前麵是藍色的海和許多白帆。
Gift
A day so happy.
Fog lifted early, I worked in the garden.
Hummingbirds were stopping over honeysuckle flowers.
There was no thing on earth I wanted to possess.
I knew no one worth my envying him.
Whatever evil I had suffered, I forgot.
To think that once I was the same man did not embarrass me.
In my body I felt no pain.
When straightening up, I saw the blue sea and sails.
