在美國旅遊簽證過期被告發的後果？

想向各位法律大俠請教一個問題。

如果持旅遊簽證進入美國以後過期不回大陸而繼續呆在美國，被人告發到美國什麽當局，會導致被遣返回大陸？一旦發生以後，為旅遊簽證提供經濟擔保的保證人是否會因此出現法律上的麻煩？
