1. Need可做情態動詞，這時你可以說：

    You needn't say it.

2. Need也可做行為動詞，這時你可以說：

    You don't need to say it.

    或者 You do not need to say it.

3. 詩歌箴言裏仿古，這時你可以說：

     You need not to say it.

     這從You don't need to say it 而來。比如把 The tears don't dry說成 Tears dry not。

     不過，need既可做情態動詞也可作行文動詞，既然用 You need not to say容易被看作用錯了，我同意把它改成 You need not say...

或者You needn't say ...

或者 You don't need to say ...
