I do not think that I understand the grammar structure of 'I am homesick found'. Could you elaborate?
I think a good translation can be judged in this way--when you translated it back to its original language the meaning is largely reserved.
Take a look at "Looking up, I see the moon bright". In Chinese it means literally "(舉頭)向上望, 我看見月亮(很)亮“。 我想這不是原詩的意思。 月亮在中國文化裏有很多寓意, 常常與思鄉, 思親, 念友, 念情聯在一起。 我認為這句還應好好斟酌。
