支票問題

事情是這樣的。我們出租房裝修，找了個爛人，付了80現金和200支票。這個人第二天就消失了。

我去chase stop payment for the check.

但是這個爛人在某一個銀行（或者是什麽機構）還是支走了錢。chase沒有給他們錢。現在這個機構說要我們支付給他＄２２５.

我有這個權力不支付嗎。他們經常騷擾我，要我付錢。上當受騙真的很火。。
