The concern is their kids will inherit instead of purchase

and if they cannot inherit, they will liquidate.

That's why I am betting on the job opportunities and new immigrants to pick them up on both sides of the country. But who will pick them up for the inland areas?

This might be another factor to think about when you want to buy investment properties where a lot of retired people like to gather like ....
