麥迪遜市一幢重達 400 噸的 W. Dayton 公寓樓於周五上午繼續進行搬遷作業。

據市政府稱，該建築正從西代頓街 400 街區搬至西米夫林街 500 街區。它目前位於西代頓街和北巴塞特街。

據該市報道，搬家作業於周四晚上暫停，以便 MG&E 恢複部分居民的電力。周五上午 9 點 30 分，搬家作業恢複。 隨著建築物的移動，北巴塞特街將被關閉，但目前尚不清楚何時會關閉。

該市表示，承包商希望在周五下午之前將該建築遷至新址。
