救助野生亞洲象 為染上“毒癮”的大象“戒毒”

　　2007年9月，不滿3個月的“勇勇”右腳拖著本不該屬於它的鐵夾子，被營救人員送到位於野象穀的中國亞洲象種源繁育基地救護中心住院治療。在工作人員的精心嗬護和照料下，“勇勇”傷勢不但有所好轉，體重也由原來的136公斤長到260公斤左右。

　　“然然”是2005年7月被救助的，當時她的左腳被獸夾夾傷，傷情嚴重危及生命。在專業人員三年的精心護理下，“然然”傷情已基本恢複，體重由原來的 650公斤增長到1200公斤。目前救護中心正對“然然”進行野外生存適應性放養，讓它逐步回到本屬於它的綠色世界中去。
