第81屆奧斯卡頒禮在洛杉磯柯達劇院落下帷幕，新晉最佳女配角佩內洛普·克魯茲 (Penelope Cruz) 身著一襲巴爾曼 (Balmain [Pierre Balmain]) 高級定製古董裙裝亮相，這身巴爾曼 (Balmain) 禮服源自40年代的經典款式，紗麵印有巴爾曼 (Balmain) 經典花紋，而且也是該款禮裙近年首次被重新翻新製造。並且佩內洛普·克魯茲 (Penelope Cruz) 略微改良，將裙身加長，與場合十分搭配。
