為了表示對5.12大地震同胞的哀悼，本次電影節將開幕紅地毯改為愛心通道，即便如此，但看點頗多，女星們能低胸的低胸、能露背的露背，最罕見的是周迅，兩度亮相，章子怡最後壓軸；範冰冰則與穿上舒淇的二手衫，有時候女星真的要好好的看看時尚雜誌以免撞衫。老搭檔林心如、蘇有朋攜手走上紅毯，林心如濃妝亮相，裸露美背，裙擺卻給人密不通風之感，可惜二人裝束共同的缺陷在於腳下鞋子。

縱觀國內外電影節的紅地毯，黑白灰三色一直是女星的最愛，或許不是最好，但至少不會出錯。有趣的事，曾經與男星夏雨傳緋聞的高圓圓，這次同夏雨的正牌女友袁泉同走紅毯，高圓圓小露性感的低胸禮服，袁泉則是白色的連衣長褲，上麵是清爽的抹胸，下麵寬鬆的設計類似長裙，在腳踝處收緊束口，有燈籠的效果，走起來隨意飄蕩，搖曳生姿，知性而性感，兩人一黑一白十分搶眼；而曾黎的白色禮服讓她成為當晚最典雅的女星，姚晨的黑色禮服盡顯優雅，章子怡一襲chanel的08秋冬黑白晚裝成為當晚的壓軸。

同樣身穿velentino粉紅晚裝的範冰冰雖然雅致清麗，而且成為愛心大道上少有媒體呼聲很高的女星，可是仔細一看這套晚裝早在3月舉行的亞洲電影節上舒淇就穿過，穿上舒淇的“二手衫”縱使亮麗也是大打折扣。在看大露背的秦海璐本來想以性感來取勝，卻讓人大跌眼鏡，倒吸一口涼氣，禮服上半身明顯大了一號，胯部又過於緊繃，光澤度極高的麵料又進一步放大了她身材的缺點，這一身完全可以說是失敗的一筆。

攜新作《哼唱》參展的韓國女星韓智慧現身上海，並在香港明星丁子峻的陪伴下走上電影節開幕式，模特和選美比賽出身的韓智慧擁有比例極佳的傲人身材，但真實、自然才是她的魅力所在，一身剪彩合身的小露性感的禮服搶走不少鎂光燈。梁詠琪的這身亮黃色velentino顯得分外搶眼，裙擺處由褶皺形成花朵作為裝飾，顯得更加修長高挑。黃色既靚麗又高貴，低胸的設計恰到好處，露出一彎迷人的乳溝，謀殺了不少菲林。
