一個乞丐模樣的人走進一家酒店，買了杯啤酒後跟男侍應開聊起來。乞丐問侍應，相不相信他可以咬自己的左眼睛，侍應不相信。於是他們打賭，賭的是二十美金。

乞丐不慌不忙的從口裏取下上下頜假牙，握在手裏朝自己的左眼做了幾下咬合的姿勢算是咬過了。

侍應無法，隻能用二十美金打發乞丐走了。

深夜，乞丐又轉回來了。這時他已是酊酩大醉語無倫次了。要過一杯啤酒後，他又要跟侍應打賭。乞丐說他可以將小便射在一尺開外的啤酒瓶裏，一滴都不灑到外麵。侍應看著他醉醺醺的模樣，知道他做不到，於是又和他賭，賭的是兩百美金。

果然，乞丐站立起來，尿液灑得滿地都是，甚至還灒到侍應的身上。見狀，侍應和眾酒客都大笑起來。

尿畢，乞丐不慌不忙地從一酒客手裏接過五百美金，將其中的兩百遞給侍應。原來，剛才在酒店時，他跟酒客打過賭，他可以將小便灑在侍應身上而侍應大笑。
