Being Mad at Mommy

This morning, Evan got mad at me because I didn't let him eat a donut on the bed. So while I was trying to dry my face after washing up, he came into the bathroom with that angry look on his face - his eyebrows frowning and eyes staring at me, and declared:" You are not looking pretty! You don't look good!" I couldn't help but burst into laughter as his attempt of getting on my nerves by making bad comments on my looks was just so funny.

 

This afternoon, Olivia got mad at me because I didn't let her use my lip gloss in the middle of her Chinese glass (I let her play with it every once in a while). So she wrote down something on a piece of paper and passed it on to me.

 

It read: "Mom, you are men!" she inadvertently misspelled "mean". I tried hard not to laugh and passed the note back to her: "Do you really mean that?" I asked.

 

She took a look and burst into laughter herselfJ.
