Olivia\'s Birthday Gift to Evan

While Olivia stayed at Granna's house during Thanksgiving, Granna gave her $12 saying that she could use this money to buy something for me, Daddy or Evan, or all of us for Christmas.  Ever since we got back, she had been thinking about it and made me promise
to take her to the mall so that she could get her "secret" shopping done.

Since Evan's birthday was right before Christmas, Olivia decided to buy a birthday gift for him instead of Christmas gifts for all of us. But what gift? Without much thinking she decided on a Webkinz. The reason? She has more Webkinz than Evan and "He will be very happy if he gets a Webkinz on his birthday". Daddy and I smiled at each other as we know even though Evan cares about how many Webkinz he "owns", he doesn't play Webkinz that much. Olivia however is a Webkinz fanatic and is more than happy to add his to her collection! J

I failed to persuade her to buy something Evan would like better, so she took her purse and went shopping with me one day at the mall. She picked out a cute monkey Webkinz and even pitched in her own money to pay for it.

We decided to give Evan his gifts after we came back from the restaurant for dinner on his birthday, but Olivia couldn't wait. She got up very early that morning, shook Evan up and gave him the Webkinz with a cheerful "Happy Birthday, Evan!" Evan hugged the monkey into his chest, smiled and got up like a spring and was ready to be the birthday boy J.

A couple of days later, Daddy found a heart-shaped note and asked Olivia what it was. Olivia said it was a birthday card for Evan. We don't know when she wrote the card but it was pretty cuteJ.
