Boo-boo Wrapper

Evan and Olivia were playing with a bunch of kids in our neighbor’s playground this past Sunday. They had just installed a play set so the kids were very excited.

Then I heard the door bell ring and Evan came in crying. He told me that some kid pushed him while he was on the swing and he fell off and bumped his head. The bump was at the back of his head and was disturbingly swollen. I was concerned and wondered whether we should go to see the doctor. But then we decided to put some ice on it and wait and see as Evan seemed alert.

But how to secure the ice on the back of his head? Daddy came up with an idea. He put the ice bag inside a pull-up and pulled the pull-up upside down over Evan’s head and it worked perfectly. Evan didn’t mind wearing diaper on his head, in fact, he thought it was so funny that he was all smiles.
