Trip to Canada (5) - Love Knot for the Carved Stone Lions

Still remember the days before we got married, Daddy and I used to daydream about our dream house. Daddy was fascinated by the Chinese culture and his dream house at the time was a Chinese pagoda house sitting on top of a hill with two carved Chinese stone lions at the front of the driveway. Hey, that sounded great except that I knew it would take tremendous effort to make that dream come true:).

Well, the dream didn't come true but we did find out from this trip that our kids also are in love with these carved Chinese stone lions. Whenever Olivia and Evan saw them, no matter where they were, they would stop and ask: "Can I take a picture with the stone lions, please?"

So we had the kids' pictures taken with the lions in Chinatown at downtown Toronto, the Chinese garden inside the Montreal Arboretum and even this one at a busy intersection of Chinatown in Montreal.
