Registration Day

Today, Olivia registered for the 1st grade! Yeah!

With a little help from me, she also read a book ("Go, Dog, Go!") word by word for me for the very first time while we were waiting for our appointment. What a pleasant surprise!

I told her that I was very proud of her being able to read now.

She blushed and said: "But I needed your help."

"That is perfectly fine, honey. That is how you learn. Nobody is born knowing everything." I comforted her.

"I know!" she cheered up again. "We even need help to learn how to talk. Otherwise we will be saying Du Du Da Da like a baby."
