宣泄痛苦，尋求快樂-介紹三支最喜歡的美國樂隊
我來美國比較早，很多中國後來的歌都不知道，和化石似的，常被無名他們無情嘲
笑為土
美國歌還是聽了不少，也知道不少。剛來美國那陣子愛聽OLDIES，因為有時會放卡
蓬特和江尼開士，這幾個是在中國就聽過的，聽歌時便有身在美國但回了中國的感
覺。聽多了，很多歌就熟起來，自然有不少自己喜歡的，先是隻記得音樂和曲調，
後來詞也開始熟了，但對歌手的名字和樂隊的名字總是記不清。
60，70年代的歌，除去BEATLES開始搖滾了一下外大多的歌還是挺深情的(soulful)，80年代的歌有
點亂，搖滾，電子樂器革命，很多不同類型都攪一塊了，有點亂亂的不知往哪兒發展，
直到90年出了個Nirvana，徹底震暈了美國和世界音樂界。
要講美國的搖滾，一定得講Nirvana和Kurt Cobain
在Nirvana以前大部分的樂隊和歌曲，都崇尚優美流暢和諧深情，即便瘋狂也是偶一
為之，有很大的裝飾性。Nirvana隻所以絕無僅有，正是因為他們和以前所有的BAND都
不同，他們的音樂認真，不掩飾的深切地“表-達-痛-苦”他們用真實的，聲嘶力竭
到破碎的聲音表達他們赤裸的內心，開創了PUNK 音樂的先河。他們的音樂製作反完
美反商業。比如1993年九月的"In Utero"，這是搖滾史上最佳朋克專集之一，這個
集子把Kurt Cobain 內心的狂燥、憤怒、壓抑、扭曲、病態、激烈的矛盾衝突完全
顯示了出來，同時也也反映了Kurt 溫柔、感性的一麵。其中最有名的一首歌“RAPE
ME”極端個人化的袒露 他 最深層的恐懼和脆弱的心。這種風格使得他們的朋克搖滾，
成為一種獨特的藝術，而94年Kurt Cobain的自殺更血淋淋活生生的把這種朋克搖
滾推向音樂史的頂峰

Nirvana在國內被翻成涅磐樂隊，我第一次聽他們的歌的感覺是：
還有人這麽認真地痛苦著，比額還厲害，立刻自己就不那麽孤獨地痛苦了 。
涅磐樂隊在音樂界就和卡夫卡在文學史上的地位差不多
Nirvana永遠是我深愛的一隻樂隊，並不因為他們有名。對所有真實表達內心表達痛苦的作品，我永遠膜拜，永遠崇敬。
從90後很多搖滾樂隊都受不少Nirvana的影響。我比較喜歡的樂隊有三個：
綠天(Green Day)
他們的音樂類型直係Nirvana，也屬朋克搖滾一族。他們駐紮在伯克利，是一隻灣區
的本土樂隊，從80年代就演，到九四年才靠Dookie打出頭，隨後一段他們沉寂了一
陣出了些不同類型的專輯很多是POP ROCK。2003年他們靠“美國沙碧”American Idiot
重新紅透半邊天。他們的信息就是反戰反政府，他們在演唱會上經常帶領大家高喊
“F-布什”。我最喜歡的幾首歌 (Holiday，Wake Me Up When September Ends，
Boulevard of Broken Dreams) 都在這個集子裏，我個人很喜歡BILLY JOE 他是主
唱兼吉它手，樂隊裏還有Mike Dirnt (低音吉它和伴唱), Tr Cool (鼓手和打擊樂)
(這BILLY JOE吧，眼睛塗的象熊貓，唱歌時嘴唇鼓的和隻小喇叭似的，絕對愛死人：)

大紅辣椒 (The Red Hot Chili Peppers )
又紅又辣的大辣椒也是一隻加州邊緣搖滾樂隊，也是80年代組的BAND，80年代末唱
出頭(BREAK THROUGH)，91年有一隻很好聽的歌 GIVE IT AWAY，非常代表他們的特
色。99年的Californication是我最喜歡的一隻他們的歌，這之後他們閉關數年，埋
頭寫歌，去年他們出了一隻有38首歌的新集子Stadium Arcadium 。其中一首主打歌
Dani California在美國流行榜上迅速名列第六，在英國排到第二。
他們的歌大多和愛情友誼，也有不少性和音樂方麵的，吉它手和伴唱John Frusciante的
吉它演奏特棒，在技術上絕對被認為是前幾名。(請仔細聆聽他們歌兒裏的吉它過門)。
這隻樂隊有因為磕藥什麽的，而且分分合合的，有過不少新聞。最早的四個成員是
高中同學： Anthony Kiedis(主唱), Hillel Slovak(吉它手), Jack Irons(低音吉
它手), and Michael "Flea" Balzary(鼓手和打擊樂。他們剛剛成功時，Slovak磕
藥磕死了，Kiedis和Jack Irons兩人受了刺激就逃跑了，Kiedis and Flea 換了不
少新成員，直到John Frusciante加入了他們的樂隊他們才重新獲得生機。
Californication

林肯公園Linkin Park
其實我已經開始不如幾年前那麽喜歡林肯公園了。也是一隻加州搖滾樂隊，也是幾
個高中同學最早爨起來的。對國內的年輕人來說，他們應該比前兩隻樂隊知名度更
高，因為他們去中國和亞洲都巡回演出過。
和前兩隻樂隊相比他們更年輕，在技術上更前衛。不如在搖滾裏加HIP HOP，加不同
的電子金屬打擊樂。MUSIC VIDEO 製作裏用動畫和電子遊戲畫麵等等。他們的六個
成員裏有一個是亞裔Joe Hahn，很多商業主意都是他出的。
他們的類型更接近流行ROCK，但基本是重金屬。有一個特色是他們有兩個主唱手，
一個又唱又嚎的(Chester Bennington)，另一個又說又喊-RAPPING (Mike Shinoda )，
最近新出的集子Minutes to Midnight ，基本是POP style
我喜歡的一首歌：In the End
5/3要和無名幾個一起去看崔健演出，崔健的歌我隻聽了幾首，但我感覺他也是那種
追求真實的人。托小人書和白菜幾位的福，看了不少羅大佑的歌詞，他的確挺有才
華，但仿佛是在深挖靈魂的同時仍然想不時加些彩色的花邊，仍然有不少的幻想，
很符合70後們的理想小資情懷。和原始真實的Kurt Cobain相比，佑派們肯定還是
不夠痛苦，不夠深刻
我自己平時聽歌並不整天聽這幾個樂隊，但搖滾在很多時候更能直接觸及靈魂深處，仿佛他們更接近人生本質：宣泄表達痛苦，尋求快樂幸福。
