最近沉迷於看電影，簽了NETFLIX，一有時間就看，看了不少不少的電影。在這兒簡要介紹一下
NETFLIX是個挺方便的好東西，。成了會員以後，在他們的網上選好你想看的電影，在帳戶裏排好，他們把你要看的DVD按順序放在一個紅白色的信封裏寄給你，你看完用原來的信封寄回去，郵資都是預付好的。這樣一來惡補了很多錯過檔期的好電影
在家裏看電影，輕鬆解乏。我家的電視48英寸，加上家庭劇場的環繞音響，躺在沙發上，邊看邊喝酒吃零食，是種享受

票房不好，影評也差，我還是特特喜歡。莎朗史冬風采如昔，看她母螳螂式的殺人很爽。男主角不大出采，從長相到性格都平平，基本不能和莎朗史冬平手對戲。

I am not sure if Netflx could remain relavent in the future, though Blockbuster is surely dead meet.
網路訂購、免郵費、免手續費、會員月費製、免費試用期，這些名詞都是慣用的網路商品銷售手段，在2000年的網路泡沫期中，證明了單靠這些手段並不能保證網路公司的存活；但是在這段期間，有一家公司靠著這些手段外加幾招獨門功夫，不但得以安然度過網路泡沫危機，而且在短短的九年期間，就成為一個市值超過10億美元的公司，那就是當今線上DVD出租業的霸主—Netflix。
Netflix是由Reed Hastings於1997年創立，主要會員線上服務則是自1999年開始提供，他最初的構想隻是單純的提供線上租片服務，以結合一般美國人對電影的熱愛與懶得出門隻想待在沙發上的習慣，但是隨著網路使用者的增加以及DVD的普及，Netflix迅速成長茁壯，由1999年的10.7萬名會員增加至目前的超過5百萬名會員，從財務報表來看，2005年Netflix的營收高達6.8億美元，以市場價值來看，Netflix的市值約13.8億美元，更是將原本電影租片業的老大哥—百視達（Blockbuster，市值約7.2億美元）遠遠拋在後頭。
如今，在Netflix的網站上，有多達6萬種的DVD可供挑選（一般坊間影片出租店隻有大約1千種），每天有1.4百萬個帶著Netflix標誌的紅色小包裹在美國各地運送，每年運送的DVD總重量高達1.7萬公噸，儘管每天運送的數目如此之多，但令人驚訝的是90%的訂戶都能在一天之內收到想要觀賞的DVD；至於在顧客滿意度的部分，Netflix更是不遑多讓，連續兩年在ForeSee Results/FGI Research發表的線上零售滿意度指數（Online Retail Satisfaction Index）中拔得頭籌。
Netflix之服務模式
一個消費者從家中開車或走路到最近的影片出租店，他穿梭在琳瑯滿目的架中挑選影片，幸運的話，他可以開心地帶著想看的影片回家，不幸的話，他可能找不到想看的影片或是要等別人歸還之後才能租到影片；租到影片之後，另一個挑戰接踵而來，新片隻能租三天兩夜，於是他還得趕在到期日之前看完影片，否則逾期罰金可令人吃不消，以上是一般大眾熟知的租片經驗。
相對的，Netflix則提供一個嶄新的租片模式，新的Netflix用戶隻要透過以下的簡單步驟，不用出門也可以觀賞到喜愛的影片：1. 首先到Netflix的網站加入會員並選擇付費方案（詳如表一）。2. 從超過6萬部影片中挑選建立個人的影片清單。3. Netflix會依照付費方案以及清單的順序寄出排名最前麵的影片。4. 訂戶收到影片後，想看多久就看多久，沒有到期日，當然也沒有逾期罰金。5. Netflix收到DVD後會將清單中接下來排名的影片寄出。6. 訂戶可以隨時上Netflix網站編輯清單內容以及對影片評分。
