我們住的小鎮,有四萬多人。可是麻雀雖小,卻五髒俱全。

1.  Florida Horsemen

The Florida Horsemen Magazine is "An Equestrian Lifestyles Magazine." While other publications might focus on equestrian sports, specific breeds, or one discipline; the Florida Horsemen is about owning, maintaining, and loving all horses.

The Florida Horsemen was founded in 1996 by Marysue Jacobs. Today, the magazine is published by Magazine Publishers of Florida Inc. and based in Wellington, Florida — home of the famed Winter Equestrian Festival and one of the largest recreational horse owner communities in the state.

Your source for local equestrian news and events in South Florida, the magazine publishes nine times each year and is distributed at hundreds of locations throughout Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade, Martin, St. Lucie, and Okeechobee counties, along with a growing distribution based in Ocala and other locations across the state.

In October 2001, the Florida Horsemen magazine merged with The Equine Exchange, a publication that has been bringing together horse buyers and horse sellers throughout Florida together for many years. The Equine Exchange is being maintained as the classified arm of the magazine. Horse-for-sale ads, including a picture, start at just $21. E-mail editor@horsemenonline.com for more information.

The magazine itself includes a full-color glossy exterior wrap around high-quality newsprint paper stitched and trimmed. Inside, readers can find articles by exclusive Florida Horsemen writers on important issues of interest to Florida equestrians. There are also "Around the Nation" and "Horse Biz" sections with news of national interest.

2. The Wiellington Town-Crier

The Town-Crier: 25 Years And Still Growing

Founded in 1980, the Town-Crier newspaper is not only the oldest and largest weekly newspaper covering the western communities, but also one of the largest independent newspaper publishers in South Florida.

There are three editions of the Town-Crier published every week — the Wellington Town-Crier, the Royal Palm Beach Town-Crier, and The Acreage/Loxahatchee Town-Crier. Also published every week is the accompanying Palms West Business, Real Estate & Classified. Every week, our combined circulation exceeds 25,000 copies distributed through home delivery and U.S. Mail (depending upon the neighborhood).
