Not Only Russia Hits Ukraine

Kyiv The Ukrainian special services of the ГУР have announced thatthe Russian Federation has started mass production of glide bombs equipped with new UMPK control modules, which enable them to strike from about 200 km away from the release point while countering interference from Ukrainian defense systems.
This alarming news confirms what I highlighted from the field in recent days, reporting the bombing of cities such as Mykolaiv and Dnipro with Russian glide bombs (called Grim-1 and Grim-2), which have a significantly longer operational range than previous models.
This means that soon,devastating and uncatchable bombs like those tested in September and October will reach Ukrainian cities such as Kyiv and Poltava, but also Rivne, Lutsk and Zhytomyr, if as is now common practice the Russian Air Force will use Belarusian airspace.

Their small size and lack of heat-emitting propulsion systems often allow theseold Soviet-era FAB bombs to evade Ukrainian radar, sometimes only appearing as almost invisible dots at the last minute. Now further upgraded, the UMPK modules they are equipped with transform them into modern KABs:powerful destruction tools carrying between 250 and 3,000 kg of explosives, capable of flying over long distances, with a maximum range of 193 km recorded by Ukrainian forces, resisting Ukrainian countermeasures and adjusting their course with inertial sensors that operate independently of GPS/Glonass signals and LTE networks.
Four of them hit residential areas in Kharkiv last night, which have been plagued for years by shorter-range KABs, resulting in numerous casualties among Ukrainian civilians.
At the same time,the Russians launched another massive attack on the Chernihiv and Cherkasy oblasts and Pavlohrad(in Dnipropetrovsk), where the death toll approaches twenty.
Continuing throughout the night with drones and other missiles of various types,the relentless enemy attacks prevented emergency teams in those regions from responding, knowingly prolonging the humanitarian crisis.
In the last 24 hours,the Russians have conducted an impressive number of bombings at the front: 4,364, including 97 with multiple launch rocket systems, according to estimates from the Ukrainian General Staff. There were 202 attempted breakthroughs, and a staggering 4,335 kamikaze drones were used to strike Ukrainian positions.

The rest of the bombings against Ukraine came from Donald Trumps America. After yet anotherproductive phone callwith Vladimir Putin, the tycoon once again embraced his narrative, downplaying brutal attacks against Ukrainian civilian areas like those described, claiming that most of the dead were soldiers.
As further evidence of how awarding him that prestigious prize would be like giving it to Putin,the Nobel Peace Prize hopeful delayed the release of a reparation loan to Kyivthrough frozen Russian assets, informing his European partners through his officials that the US would not join the initiative.
As frustrating as it may be, Russias most valuable asset in Washington did not come as a surprise in Ukraine. The hardest pill to swallow amid the debris of last nights bombing was learning thatthe EU will officially stop purchasing Russian gas by the end of 2027. Good news, those far away might say. But definitely not for those who have seen a thousand bombs rain down for almost four years and have been living through war for another eight, because that meanstwo more years before the Russian war machine stops being fueled by Europe.
Under these conditions, its no surprise that the Kremlin is announcing the mass production of new KABs, drones, and missiles, and that neither that the White House is not hurrying at all to organize a possible meeting between the Russian dictator and the American president. As is quite evident,with American support for Ukraine completely eliminated and the cash it continues to receive to finance its war, Moscow has no interest in stopping it but, on the contrary, has clear prairies to continue it.
