The Unsustainability of Democratic Soci

沒有生產力的平等,隻能靠掠奪維持;

Even when wrapped in the language of democracy, socialist policies remain inherently unsustainable. Their fundamental flaw lies not in compassion, but in arithmetic — the illusion that wealth can be endlessly redistributed without maintaining or expanding the productive base that creates it.

In practice, such policies often evolve into a form of populism, disguised as social justice. Politicians, seeking easy applause, promise benefits to every constituency while vilifying those who warn about fiscal reality. The result is not equality, but dependency — and once the productive sector weakens, the welfare system begins to devour itself.

History repeatedly proves that governments cannot endlessly spend without consequence. A society that rewards consumption while punishing productivity inevitably faces stagnation, inflation, and debt crises. The tragedy is that those who depend most on government aid suffer first when the system collapses.

At the federal level, the United States must remain vigilant. Local or state experiments with radical left-wing or socialist agendas should not be unconditionally subsidized by federal funds. Fiscal responsibility and national stability require clear limits — generosity cannot come at the expense of sustainability.

True social progress demands a balance between compassion and discipline. Without the latter, democracy itself risks being hijacked by populist forces who promise equality today and deliver ruin tomorrow.
