Ingredients:
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon loose black tea (Assam or Darjeeling) or 1 tea bag
- 1 teaspoon sugar (optional)
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional, for a tangy flavor)
- 1 small piece of ginger (optional, for added warmth)
- 2-3 cardamom pods (optional, for a fragrant touch)
Instructions:
- Boil Water: In a small saucepan, bring 1 cup of water to a boil.
- Add Tea Leaves: Once the water starts boiling, add the loose black tea (or a tea bag). Let it steep for 3-4 minutes for a strong flavor.
- Enhance the Flavor (Optional): Add crushed ginger or cardamom if you like a spiced taste.
- Strain and Serve: Strain the tea into a cup, add sugar to taste, and stir well.
- Optional Lemon Touch: If you prefer a citrusy twist, add a few drops of lemon juice before serving.
