第一次聽到這首歌時我在麥當勞打工，那時的我，對生活迷惘沮喪，但是還談不上絕望！

 

個人認為麥當勞打工是最辛苦的，大家都像永動機一樣從來沒有空閑！不過同事們每天心情好像都不錯！麥當勞的背景音樂是流行歌曲，基本上我都沒有聽過。他們幹活總是隨著音樂扭動，不時的還舉著刀鏟或者可樂吼上幾聲，讓顧客也一起感動。不過每次放這首歌時，大家好像都有點落寞。那時候我的英語很差，聽不懂歌詞，但是感覺歌聲淒楚，以為是歌者感歎曾經在 Downtown 受到的傷害。

 

多年以後，我不時地想起這首歌，很想知道歌名。家人根據我記憶中的隻言片語，例如 everybody heard……downtown，卻都無能為力！終於有一天，收音機裏傳來了熟悉的旋律，我大喊著把全家叫出來一起欣賞！一家人立刻都笑趴了！everybody hurts 聽成 everybody heard 可以原諒，你說我怎麽可以把sometimes聽成Downtown呢
