Popsicle’s Adventure
My name is Popsicle Jr. My human picked me out from EASEL. She wants a cat younger than one year. However, she had to take me home when she saw me. I’m pretty two and half years old and very cute. She put me in a carrier, at lease that is human called it. The carrier is pretty large but I was scared and quite queries. We were on a car and got home after half hour.
My human took the carrier out of the car and put the carrier into a room. She opened carrier door. Before she knew I ran under the bed. I could see she was looking around. Probably didn’t believe I was so fast. Finally, she looked under the bed and saw me. You’d think a human would look under the bed first! She left the room and closed the door. She thought I could be kept in the room. Ha! There is a slot between the door and floor. It is narrow but is enough for me to sneak out. I heard she went to the room, a bedroom is what she calls it. I heard she was searching the bedroom. There is not much places to hide, but she checked under the bed from three sides. Then I heard she called “Popsicle”,” Popsicle” and “Popsicle”. I know that is my name now. She went to every room, upstairs and basement. Human could never understand that they could not won a hide and seek.
I heard my human went to the bed, probably gave up the game. I went to the bedroom to ate, drank and used the little box. I hide under the bed. I heard she got up at midnight. She checked the food in the feeder and little box. I heard her had a sight then went to the bed. I laughed in my belly. I saw she started to look under the bed when she got up next morning. I thought she was a trustable animal so put my head out to see her. She was really happy I could tell. She played several toys to try to get me out. I was still insecure a bit. She came to the bedroom several time and tried to play with me. I decided she was sincere so went out finally. We played balls. She has four balls, we push them back and forth. She went to sleep at the night. It was my time: I ran left and right, up and down. I must make a lot of noises, I heard she asked “What are you doing, Popsicle?” a few time.
I decided my human really love me and I start to love her too. She has a feeder to feed me four times a day. A wat bowl with running water. The little box is big and comfortable. She cleans little box several times a day. My human is really a good servant. She pats me, scratches my belly and chin. Very comfy! She has a cat tree with two layers. I didn’t dare to jump to the top. She put the treats on the top layer and put me on it. I figured out she would do it every day. So, I ran after her to every room when she got up in the morning. I jump to the cat tree top to wait and she does put the treats on the top every morning. She thinks she was training me, but I was training her. HaHa! She talks with me but I don’t know what she is talking about. I’m a pretty smart cat but I don’t understand the human language.
There are so many toys she made herself. I amuse myself when she was working. Afterwhile, I have to visited her to see what she is doing. I sit on the keyboard, threw the mouse to the floor. I don’t understand why my human call that thing a mouse. It even does not look a mouse. But what do you expect from human! She called me a “bad cat” when I typed words for her. She called me a “purring matching”. Who would not do if they have my life. I roll and stretch when she looks me, I like smile on her face. She sketched me and like drawing very much. I think I must important in her life.
