Just last week, our little granddaughter, who is just 2 years and 3 months old, started at a new, better kindergarten. There are about 20 toddlers in her class, all between 2 and 3 years old.
And here comes the lovely surprise: the teacher told my daughter that Rhea is already one of the top 3 kids in the class who are completely independent in potty training — no diaper needed at school. This kind of progress stood out, especially since she’s one of the newest kids in the room.
We were on a video call when my daughter shared this, and you can imagine how delighted we were. As grandparents, it's the little things like this that stay with us.
Here’s a moment from her classroom — organizing her things right next to a teacher. She's growing up one small, impressive step at a time.
