Once I was in love with the world

Drowning in the pleasures of sin

But my heart was lost and empty

Who did save me when I was a sinner

 

Once a Saviour left His throne above

Coming to this world He created

But He was killed on the cross

What a love is it to sacrifice His life

 

Once I was in the barren wilderness

Tottering with an empty stomach

But He rained down manna

When did He ever forsake me midway

 

I have many questions

That I have no answers

But I am never so convinced

That I am going to somewhere much much better

Then I asked myself the last question

Why don’t I just obey and follow this Saviour
