她說事已至此

不如以命相搏

以濃鬱的香氣饋贈人世

解佛心，受佛惠，傳佛語

她說：這世上隻要有文字

她的名字就叫：丁香！

 

丁香如參

話頭已經起了

她含笑不語，如信如不信

如來如未來，如棋局休閑相持

癡心人，請駐足片刻以示恭敬！

 

Lilac Like a Dream

The lilac, like a dream,
She says, now that things have come to this,
Why not risk it all with life,
Offering the world her rich fragrance,
Leaving a good name, eternally fragrant!

The lilac, like a fervent devotee,
Gains Buddha's wisdom through her persistence,
Understanding Buddha's heart, receiving Buddha's blessings, spreading Buddha's words.
She says: As long as there are words in this world,
Her name will be: Lilac!

The lilac, like a meditation,
The conversation has begun,
She smiles without speaking, whether you believe or not,
Like the Tathagata, like the future, like a leisurely held chess game.
