Category - 類別

noun 名詞

• a class or division of people or things regarded as having particular shared characteristics. 同一類別的事或人有一些共同特征。
• one of a possibly exhaustive set of classes among which all things might be distributed. 類

Catalog - 目錄

• noun - a complete list of items, typically one in alphabetical or other systematic order. 按字母順序的完整目錄。比如商品價目。
• verb - make a systematic list of (items of the same type)。做目錄

兩個例子:

• Categories organize the items in a sales catalog.  
• A sales catalog organizes items into different categories.
