yesterday I heard some first-hand information from a nurse. she told me there are many new infection cases and just in a day, 66 people were hospitalized in her hospital! and different from previous virant, Delta virant seems attack heavily on younger people, most of the patients in her hosptial are age from 25-39!
昨天聽一位護士朋友說，她們醫院最近收治了很多新冠病人，其中一天的新增住院數就是66例。而且與前次病毒不同，DELTA病毒對年輕人攻擊起來尤其凶猛，住院者的年齡多在25-39間。 我想這也可以用達爾文進化論來解釋，病毒也是一種生物。

舊文學譯
昨天，當我行駛在小鎮上的主街，眺望眼前。一來一往左右各一條車道，並不算寬敞的灰黑色瀝青碎石馬路，如一條長河，緩緩下瀉，流向遠方。河的盡頭，是白色的尖頂教堂和教堂後斜屋頂上的藍紫色陽光節能板。我心再生感慨：這條路是我上班和買菜的必經之路，曾經幾年都沒有留意它兩邊的景物建築，對它可以說是漠視和忽略的。而從幾個月前，我發現了居高遠眺時，向前我可見路遠方處的小鎮風景，向左我可以看到一條綿延的藍色遠山，天氧情好時，我還會看到藍山穀下的星落著的座座白屋。再至前日，我更有發現：原來這條主街是沿著鎮上的一條溪流而建的，溪流就隱在路一側的草地，灌木，還有蘆葦蕩下。這條主街兩邊聚集了鎮上從早年至如今人們主要的社會生活場所：三間教堂，一個墓地，四片種植園（今都已荒廢），鎮政府，圖書館，郵局，銀行，商店，診所，老年公寓。。。昨天我更在路邊有所發現：一長排木屋。棕黑色的木頭像透著種被碳烤過樣的滄桑；屋前的土地上，隨意地停著三四輛鏽褐色的兩輪推車；透過路邊的樹梢看到房楣上的白色字：VEGETABLE，我知道：原來此地久久以前是個蔬菜種植園。
Yesterday when I was driving on xxx street, the most busy street of the town, I looked far. From the highland where I was, the pavement looked like a black river, the water wandering down, to far away. At the end of the black river were steeple from the white congregation church and the roof with blue-purple solar panels from an extended church building. It was such a beautiful view!
I drive on this street almost everyday, to grocery stores, to shopping mall, to my work, to my son’s dentist…. For years, I even didn’t bother to have a glance of the surroundings: the appealing landscape consisting of pastures, ornamental trees, bushes and flowers, wetland, churches, shopping centers, library, health care service, Gym, senior care facilities. But my ignorance didn’t stop the changing, some new commercial buildings occurred along the street like the spring bamboo after rain. These new businesses mean more job opportunities, more competition, more choices and better prices.
The center of the town is located at south, I called that area' historical area', where old ferry , old library, colonial houses from 17th and18th century will easily bring you to the scenes in those old black-white movies.
The developmenting area is along the street to North. It is a very well planed and organized developing area. Development and preserve, the two seeming opposite concepts can coordinate well if people think it a priority in the processing of development.
