Since when I forgot. So much talk on China's rise, impling that a more assertive, muscular China is on the herizon. Yet, so little evidence for that jingostic claim. Rather, I think Chinese men's hegemonic masculinity may be more perceptive than substantive because China is not a warrior state like America, Russia and Japan. Lengthy peace, carnal indulgence, cultural gene, and ideological void, to name a few, are hardly fertile for a new Chinese Fascist regime. And without a fanatic leader like Hitler, such reality sits somewhere between remote and none. My worry is the opposite, since the zeitgeist of China now, as I sense, is the feverish pursuit of materialistic hedonism and a resultant feminine culture, painfully manifest in art, fashion, hobby of the Chinese Male. China observers should know better that shouting slogans in streets or hiding behind fake names in online saliva war is a spectator warfare. Those urging gladiators to kill each other in the Colosseum are nothing but cowards. 

 

China's one-child policy predetermines the future of Chinese Male. Castrated mentally and effeminate physically, If, and only if, war breaks out, the sole uncertainty is how fast and how many these spoiled boys surrender.

 

Let's end this topic, as the prospect I envision is becoming unbearably humiliating, because Chinese hegemonic masculinity is what my heart yearns for.
