 大意：
Dr. Joe 的一位六年級的網上寫作班的學生，在每年有15萬學生參加的WordMasters Challenge詞匯大賽中脫穎而出，取得了滿分的驕人成績，而美國全國六年級取得滿分的隻有32人，該同學的年級隊在全國本輪（第二輪）比賽中名列第一（一年共三輪比賽）。

下麵是這個孩子給Dr.Joe的報喜郵件：

Dear Dr. Joe,
 

I still kind of feel sorry that I missed one of your wonderful classes last Week.
 

This Saturday, I will come late to your class because I am participating in a math competition in another city starting at 8:00am, but I will strive to get back in time.
 

By the way, I got a perfect score on a vocabulary test, and only 32 other 6th graders in the nation got the perfect score! You are the first person I really want to share it with, and you directly helped me with this test by talking vividly about vocabulary in the writing class。

這位男孩從去年2月份一直到現在都跟著Dr.Joe在網上學習英語寫作，他隻有6年級。他在媽媽回國的日子裏，在家做飯，洗衣服，幫妹妹(4年級)批改作文然後兄妹倆都郵寄給Dr.Joe批改，幫妹妹批改數學作業，督促妹妹彈琴。他們兄妹倆在家裏會為一個單詞爭論，然後同時給Dr.Joe寫郵件，請Dr.Joe裁判他們誰對誰錯...還有很多我就不細說了，恭喜這位6年級的男生;加油！
