最忙的一個夏天，so far， 但這不是主題

"Codename Nemo" by Charles Lachman

借書的時候，沒仔細看上麵的介紹，或者看了也沒記住？坦白地說，本來是要借來催眠用的。前幾章也的確是那個用途。隻是聽著聽著就開始關注了，就不忍在半夜聽了。這書真好聽。

還有一本也很不錯：

"To Rescue the Constitution" by Bret Baier

作者認為喬治 華盛頓三次拯救了這個國家，第一次指揮了獨立戰爭。第二次坐鎮了產生美國憲法的唯一一次製憲大會，平息調解了在製憲中的種種矛盾糾紛。 第三次作為新生國家的第一任總統。"There is no doubt that the struggling new nation needed to be resucued - and that Washington was the only American who could bring them together."

"Baier exposes an early America that is grittier and far more devided than is often portrayed - one we can see reflected in today's conflicts."

最後這句會讓人多想吧？究竟那時的國家有那麽分裂麽？還是今天的人們更願意相信分裂是正常的，今天的分裂也沒啥新鮮？

說實話，前幾年我也這麽想，再怎麽樣，也沒有林肯麵對的那麽嚴重吧？

其實我不知道。這本書好像並沒有讓我找到答案，因為我懷疑是不是作者有意要喂給我一個答案。。。嗬嗬。

活著，就繼續看曆史在演變。。。
