日本人要求拆除美國的慰安婦塑像，10萬人向白宮請願
居住在德克薩斯州的64歲美國男性向白宮請願，要求拆除位於美國加利福尼亞州格倫代爾（Glendale）市公園的慰安婦塑像。
該塑像由韓裔人團體修建。已經有超過10萬人參加該請願。
請願理由是【慰安婦塑像會助長對日本人的憎惡感】。
米慰安婦像撤去、ホワイトハウスに１０萬人署名
【ロサンゼルス＝水野哲也】米カリフォルニア州グレンデールの公園に韓國係団體が建てたいわゆる従軍慰安婦を象徴する少女像について、テキサス州に住む米國人男性（６４）が、ホワイトハウスの請願受け付けを通じ、像の撤去を求める署名集めを行い、署名數が、受理に必要な１０萬人を超えた。
請願は「像は日本人への憎悪を助長する」として撤去を求めており、ホワイトハウスは請願を受理して対応を検討するとみられる。

Unexplained plumes ofradioactive steam have been rising from Fukushima's Reactor Building 3. TEPCOhas confirmed the reports, adding that they were not clear on the details ofthe sudden change at the reactor because of "lethal radiation levels inthat building." Meanwhile some experts think that "the situationcould escalate rapidly out of control."
福島核電站3號堆突然噴出未知核蒸汽。東電已確認了此事，但表示他們也不清楚到底發生了什麽，因為“建築內的輻射程度已經達到了致死標準”。一些專家們認為，福島的情況“可能會迅速惡化，失去控製”。
Unexplained plumes ofradioactive steam have been rising from Fukushima's Reactor Building 3. TEPCOhas confirmed the reports, adding that they were not clear on the details ofthe sudden change at the reactor because of "lethal radiation levels inthat building."
Fukushima's Reactor Building3 exploded on 13th March 2011 as a result of a hydrogen buildup, breaching thebuilding's containment and emitting a huge plume of radiation. The reactoritself is in meltdown.
福島核電站3號堆突然噴出未知核蒸汽。東電已確認了此事，但表示他們也不清楚到底發生了什麽，因為“建築內的輻射程度已經達到了致死標準”。
福島3號堆在2011年3月13日就曾爆炸過一次，當時從建築的煙道管內噴出了巨量的輻射煙氣。核電站本身則在聚變中被燒熔了。
And now fresh plumesof steam have been seen coming out the structure. These have now been confirmedby TEPCO, the owner of the nuclear plant, from 19th December onwards. Thecompany believes the steam is coming from the fifth floor of the building.
現在這個反應堆又開始往外噴蒸汽了。核電站的所有者東電已確認了此事。東電公司認為，蒸汽應該是從建築的第五樓冒出的。
However it does notknow the cause of the steam. Lethal levels of radiation and the physical damageto the structure have so far made entry and inspection impossible.
Summations fromexperts conclude that this may "be the beginning of a 'spent fuel poolcriticality (meltdown)' involving up to 89 tons of nuclear fuel burning up intothe atmosphere and heading to North America."
不過，蒸汽的成因卻是無人知曉。由於核輻射程度已經達到了致人死命的水準，建築結構也被嚴重破壞，進入核電站進行查看已經是不可能的事。
一些專家們認為，這是“廢燃料池已達到融化的臨界值”的征兆，一旦大禍釀成，89噸核燃料所化成的蒸汽將被噴到大氣中，並飄向北美。
Educated guessessuggest that the steam is "coming from what’s left of the fifth floor ofthe mostly-destroyed building."
TEPCO has admittedthat "they do not know why this steam is being generated, butmatter-of-factly revealed today (December 28) the steam was first spotted onDecember 19 for a short period of time, then again on December 24 and again onDecember 25."
一些人根據這些跡象猜測，蒸汽來自“殘破不堪的建築的五樓”。

The accord is that"pellets of radioactive fuel, ejected when the reactor exploded, went intothe spent fuel pool located above the reactor and have begun melting down soseriously they are boiling off the water in the spent fuel pool."

Should this be thecase "the situation could escalate rapidly out of control."
TRN is warning ofpreparatory measures that should be taken by those living on the West Coast ofAmerica because after the "releasing 89 tons of deadly radioactive fueldirectly into the air", it would be a matter or 2 to 3 days before thedeadly material would fry North America "by [the] levels of airborneradiation and ‘hot particles’ which could kill."
現在的形勢“可能會迅速惡化，失去控製”。
TRN警告美國西海岸一帶的居民，一旦這“89噸輻射劑量致死的核燃料被直接排放進大氣裏”，就要采取必要的初步措施，因為廢氣很有可能會在2到3天內就抵達北美。
