True. I think I must stop giving access to everyone. Not every conversation deserves me, because why should I talk with someone who doesn't have a problem?

You will learn that this is true for all things in life. You can't own a human or anything else. It all goes away eventually; soon "your" health will begin deteriorating, and you will realize that you don't even own your own body. Best luck with the adventure in life, and don't forget, nothing is yours, except a tiny bit of your mind.

 I did that a couple of years ago. She did not know what she wanted, me or a guy 7,000 miles away. I made the choice for her and walked away, never looked back. Best decision I made for sure.

Facts. Been married nearly 39 years. The hardest thing is not getting the respect of your woman, but KEEPING it. She sees your every misstep. Every time you might lose patience, fail to follow through 100% of the time or fall short in something, it’s a black mark against you. 

They aren’t going to see the faults in men who are constantly trying to get their attention, because they don’t live with them. Lack of respect breeds resentment & contempt. That’s deadly for a relationship & for a man’s image of himself.

I always felt that my wife had all the power in our marriage. It was always me wanting her to stay. When I had enough & said “Im out. See ya”, things changed. I realized I am just as much of a catch & even if I could not make another woman see that, I could live by myself & be completely happy for the rest of my days.
