I've been in love twice in my life. I'm 58 years old. And I didn't imagine this, but each time there were people trying to pull us apart, and I could feel from strangers how much it bothered them to even witness and feel the love and happiness that was generating from us. I didn't imagine this, it happened twice, but I wasn't strong enough, took love for granted, and became complacent. I ask for forgiveness from the women and from God for my weakness of a gift not everyone is given.Life is a challenge, and often, people decide their destiny because free will is possible.

 

The ancient Greeks aggressively pursued the "fate versus free will" dilemma. Oedipus the King, tragedy produced, tried to avoid his fate, but the choices he freely made ultimately led to its fulfillment. It's a bizarre situation we find ourselves in, especially in a democracy. ;)
