作為日本版深夜食堂的多年粉絲，我實在很難忽視許多角色的「日版痕跡」：拳擊手母子和護士母女那段，從出場的設定就看得出來是日版裏哪幾個故事的揉合了。稍微比較原創的角色和情節又讓人感覺很離地。也許會有很多年輕人和外國朋友喜歡吧，我們老一輩的還是喜歡平實樸素一點的東西。

Something is odd. The original show is Japanese, set in Tokyo. The master chef does have a scar on his face, but he is not Chinese. Did I miss something?
