從Bali渡假回來後,我們全家按照事先的約定,正式去拜訪和感謝Shawn和家人,那天Shawn也準時從他的place回到他爸媽家.
2家人聚在1起吃飯聊天,我爸是great salesman馬上就和Shawn爸爸hit it off還約周末1起打golf.因為Shawn和他爸爸都是律師, KIM就搞笑的說他去年做jury曾經因為無聊就睡著了,最後被Sheriff當場警告的笑話.沒想到Shawn竟然更搞笑的接著說原來那個人就是你,當時我的logic就是被你的snore吵亂了,最後就輸了,那可是我人生中第1次輸case,所以對那個人印像很深, I really wish I could beat him up if I have a chance! 所有人都聽的開心大笑.
我坐在KIM旁邊,聽著大家開心的聊天,聽著聽著,突然感覺KIM有點在強裝輕鬆,我就偷偷的伸手在桌下去牽他的手,果然,他的手心竟然有點流汗了. 在我認識KIM的9年裏,從來都沒有見到他這樣的緊張過,我就手指交叉的緊握他的手,把頭輕輕的靠在他的肩膀上,再用另外的手緊緊的挽住他的手臂,KIM停止聊天,轉過頭對我微笑,用另外1隻手把垂在我臉上的長發輕輕的放到耳朵後麵. 坐在我對麵的Shawn沒有像上次那樣馬上就借口離開,而是1直表情平靜的盯著我. 我就看著Shawn微笑的用唇語說thanks,Shawn閉了1下眼睛,對著我很細微的微笑的點點頭,接著他就轉過頭找人聊天了…
Shawn的印度小妹因為在外地讀大學所以這次沒見到,也許今年thanksgiving我才有機會看到那個小學妹,到時候看看是否真的像Shawn說的跟我長的很像? 哈哈哈…
我爸非常喜歡Shawn, 對他表現很熱情,全程都笑眯眯的跟他聊天. 沒想到這個竟然讓KIM很吃味,事後還半玩笑的跟我complain 當初爸爸對他超挑剃的,明顯的差別待遇. 我就安慰他說因為你搶了爸爸最寶貝的女兒,當然要讓爸爸發泄1下啦.
最後讓我驚喜的是,我爸竟然當眾提議以後就讓2家人就像family那樣的相處, Shawn和家人都很高興的說we would love to! 雖然有點surprise 但這就是我最想看到的結果,也許人跟人,還有family & family之間真的是存在著很奇妙的緣份,不分人種,年紀和性別!
爸爸總是有辦法把his business partner,potential opportunities and even some potential competitor transformed into strategic alliance---就是2個原來沒有血緣關係的family 就像family那樣的相處. 目前我家和5 families有這種 bonding 關係, 當然馬上就是6家啦! 我們平時定期聚會,全家1起出去渡假,增加彼此感情---family & company. 我媽很social,基本上是最主要的event planner,而我的任務就是show up on time and get along with their children…回程的飛機上, KIM漫不經心的說"actually I had a long talk with Shawn…""what about it?""nothing special, its just a man to man talk…"他轉過頭,第1次用那種很認真的表情說"if u don't mind, I'd like Shawn to be our future kids' Godfather, kinda like him, I mean his personality of course…" 最後還搞笑的clarify, 我當時都聽呆了不知道怎麽回答,他就微笑的握著我的手很輕柔的說 "I understand how much Shawn means to u and I know exactly how u feel, it always brought me back to the moment when u ran in front of the car and tried to protect me in Fiji ……we can always go visit him cuz he's part of our family now and he said yes!"
突然感覺飛機裏的空氣都是甜的,我就故意的說"if it's ok with u, I'd like to use his name as our kids' middle name to thank him for saving my life…" "Absolutely, as long as the last name is mine""I was just kidding…" "I know …" 我就高興的抱住他的脖子很深情的說"thank u, thank u so much, honey, u're my soul and fantasy, I just can't live without it!""I know that too…" 他還是用當初電到我的那種漫不經心的表情對著我微笑. 當時真的超恨飛機飛太慢, cuz I just can't wait to take him home~!
