聖母頌 Ave Maria

奧地利作曲家Franz Schubert (舒伯特) 雖然隻活了三十一年 (那個年代的音樂家短命的很多, 巴赫好象例外)，但卻是個高產的作曲家。他給後人留下了豐富的音樂財富。 “He wrote some 600 Lieder, nine symphonies (including the famous "Unfinished Symphony"), liturgical music, operas, some incidental music, and a large body of chamber and solo piano music".  他的Trout Quintet（鱒魚）也是我十分喜愛的romantic的曲子。

節日前夕, 獻上我摯愛的一首Ave Maria (聖母頌)。"The Ave Maria was composed in about 1825 by Franz Schubert (1797-1828) when he was twenty-eight years old and filled with devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. It was written for voice and piano and first Published in 1826 as Op 52 no 6. The words most commonly used with Schubert's music are not the words that the composer originally set to music. Franz Schubert actually wrote the music for an excerpt from the poem "The Lady of the Lake" by Sir Walter Scott (1771-1832), which was translated into German by Adam Storck. Schubert called his piece Ellens dritter Gesang (Ellen's third song)."

第一首是維也那童聲合唱團 (Vienna Boys Choir) 演唱的，  真是天籟之聲， 天使般的歌聲,  純淨聖潔。 第二首是帕瓦羅蒂 (Luciano Pavarotti) 的演唱， 當之無愧的高音C之王的一首力作。
