給女兒——蝴蝶之吻 (Butterfly Kisses)
美國抒情鄉村歌手鮑勃.卡萊斯歐(Bob Carlisle)在他女兒Brooke十六歲的生日前夕，看著女兒長大成人了，不久就要遠走高飛了，感慨萬千而寫下了這首歌。鮑勃以沉穩柔情的嗓音，伴以吉他委婉的和弦，深邃真情地唱出了蘊藏在他內心深處的父愛。歌中唱到一個父親對女兒從小到大成長過程中的許多美好時光的回憶，他回憶起第一次帶女兒去騎馬……，回憶起第一次女兒給他做蛋糕……，讓他最難忘最感動的就是每天晚上睡覺前給女兒的‘蝴蝶之吻’。同時他也想到將來女兒結婚時的情景。當他想到女兒婚禮後就要改為夫姓；在婚禮上，當他深情地望著女兒的時候，女兒問爸爸在想什麽，爸爸無限感傷地說，‘我不知道，我隻是感到我將從此失去我的寶貝女兒’ ……，最後女兒給了爸爸一個‘蝴蝶之吻’，就象小時候爸爸吻她那樣……，女兒說，‘爸爸，你別哭’ ……
1956年出生在美國洛杉磯的鮑勃，早在20世紀70年代的時候就已在音樂界嶄露頭角，而真正使他一鳴驚人的，正是這首深情款款的“蝴蝶之吻”。這首歌曾獲第四十屆格萊美最佳鄉村歌曲獎(Grammy Awards)，在美國久負盛名。舊金山的San Francisco Chronicle報曾報導說，當時許多邊開車邊聽此歌的聽眾常情不自禁地把車子停到路邊，泣不成聲。現在，這首歌已經成為許多美國人婚禮上必不可少的經典歌曲。
注: Butterfly Kiss的意思據說是用眼睫毛在別人的麵頰或是睫毛上拍打，是一種大人親熱孩子的舉動，我們暫且把它翻譯成‘蝴蝶之吻’吧。
