【紀念反法西斯戰爭 WWII 結束74周年！】

 

 

重慶 1945

重慶三日晨二時電二日晚八時半，蔣主席在官邸宴請毛澤東、周恩來、王若飛，並介紹與黨政首長及參政員會麵，到孫科、馮玉祥、吳鐵城、熊式輝、張伯苓、莫德惠、江庸、王雲五、張群、左舜生、傅斯年、冷遹、黃炎培、邵力子、吳鼎昌、王世傑、張治中、陳立夫、甘乃光、吳國楨、周至柔、雷震、白崇禧、翁文灝、許炎等。席間蔣主席表示，二日為日本正式投降日，歡迎毛澤東先生倍加高興，毛氏對蔣主席盛意，亦表示感謝，並慶祝勝利。

1945年6月22日，衛國戰爭爆發四周年的這一天，斯大林發布命令：

“為慶祝偉大衛國戰爭的勝利，茲定於1945年6月24日在莫斯科紅場舉行作戰部隊、

海軍部隊、莫斯科衛戍部隊勝利閱兵式。在舉行勝利閱兵式時，

由我的助理、蘇聯元帥朱可夫負責檢閱，蘇聯元帥羅科索夫斯基負責指揮。”

The photograph was taken at 5:51 p.m. ET, according to Donald W. Olson and his team.

It was taken with a Leica IIIa.

 

George Mendonsa posed in Middletown, R.I., on July 2, 2009 holding a copy of the famous Alfred Eisenstadt photo of Mendonsa kissing a woman in a nurse's uniform in Times Square on Aug. 14, 1945, while celebrating the end of World War II, left.

Mendonsa died Sunday. He was 95.

It was years after the photo was taken that Mendonsa and Greta Zimmer Friedman, a dental assistant in a nurse’s uniform, were confirmed to be the couple.
