bears and the wilderness to be reunited with her family 42 DAYS later

 

• Jade, an Australian shepherd, ran off on July 23 after a car accident
• Owner David Sowers, of Denver, and girlfriend Laura Gillice, were injuered in the wreck
•  
• They traveled to Yellowstone several times to look for
• Jade and several park visitors had reported sightings of the dog
•  
• Six weeks after the crash, Gillice finally spotted the dog and was reunited
• Jade lost weight and cut her lip, but otherwise the 18-month-old is healthy
